Diablo 3 Builds
Make no mistake, Diablo 3 builds are going to become a major part of class theory and strategy once the new game launches. In D2, having the wrong build set up often meant optimal DPS was not achieved and was the difference between living and dying in PVP. If you want to be an elite Diablo 3 player, you will need to keep up to date with the latest builds.
But there is a catch!
Just like any online game, there are often content updates and patches to nerf and/or make new classes OP. What makes a great Diablo 3 build at launch won’t necessarily be the best one 3 or 6 months down the track. Gamers are held in renown for doing a lot of theory crafting to get the most out of their class and coming up with new and interesting builds. One build might be best against one class but failure against another, so there will always be more than just one type of build out there.
Where to find Diablo 3 builds?
The best place to find Diablo 3 builds is by visiting gaming forums and discussing strategy with other players. That way, you’ll give a different perspective and can fine tune your class builds and devise new ones that no-one will expect in PVP. With the addition of PVP arenas in Diablo 3, this is going to be very important if you intend to climb to the top of the ladder.
PVP, PVM Or Just Item Farming?
Let’s say you’re a Monk. A Monk build might be based around high stamina and high burst DPS but won’t be great in PVM where you need longer, sustained DPS over the duration of a fight. It’s unknown at this point in time if Diablo 3 will allow talent switch like you can do in Diablo 3 but I wouldn’t be surprised to see it.
Head to the biggest Diablo 3 forum for builds on the Internet to get the latest information on your class.
